Benefit for Wayne "Fuzzy" Resch

Wayne "Fuzzy" Resch, 48 years old, was diagnosed
with Melastatic Multiple Myeloma, on June 2,
2011. Multiple Myeloma is a relatively rare
cancer of the bone marrow. Fuzzy needs to take
chemo pills for up to six months and also has to
be treated by intravenous Zoledronicacid
infusion every four weeks for two years. Fuzzy
will also need to go through Chemo radiation in
Madison and then Perepheral Stem Cell Transplant
that involves giving patients immature, healthy
blood cells to replace bone marrow cells that
are destroyed during total body radiation and
high-dose chemotherapy. Major medical expenses
will be incurred for these treatments.
